Hello everyone, hope I can get some support from here.

Just trying to see where I stand so I know what to look for if I start looking.

I'm an architect with 3 years experience working in-house for a developer in Dubai, currently on 8500/month. Friends doing similar roles at design consultancies seem to be earning more but I've heard developer-side jobs pay less because of the "stability." Is that actually true or am I just underpaid?
